07/01/2005The Mid-Atlantic Russia Business Council (MARBC) presented a comprehensive program on opportunities for business and technology cooperation between U.S. and Russian companies at the Russian – American Conference and Exhibition, which took place in conjunction with the Corporate and Channel Computing Expo (C3 EXPO) from June 28 – 30, 2005 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, NY. This comprehensive program concluded the 2nd Semi-Annual Russian – American Innovation Technology Week, the largest undertaking of Russian – American business cooperation in the Mid-Atlantic States. The program, organized by the MARBC and sponsored by EPAM and Logrus, provided opportunities for further business and technology cooperation between U.S. and Russian companies, and included a seminar, panel discussions, and a special Russian Pavilion. Axxon (former ITV) participated in this event and presented the Safe City project that is implemented in many Russian cities, such as: Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Rostov-na-Dony, and Novosibirsk. The project attracted attention and incited great interest of the seminar participants, including some official guests. Axxon (former ITV) is convinced that the Russian positive experience in citywide security solutions can contribute in safety situation world wide.
