Axxon (former ITV) announces the appointment of Egor Shokurov as Deputy Managing Director, Software Development at Axxon (former ITV)

Axxon (former ITV), the leading Russian software developer for security systems, announces the appointment of the new managing director. Egor Shokurov, the co-owner and member of the Board of Directors of the software company RapidSoft, has been named to the position of the Deputy Managing Director, Software Development.

In his new role he will lead the entire product and technology development at Axxon (former ITV), product technical support, and the development of the company's technological strategy.

Egor Shokurov, the founder of RapidSoft in 1998, holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, the department of Electronics and Computer Technologies. RapidSoft's clients include a number of world-known international corporations as Microsoft, British Petroleum, Adobe, Accenture, Intel, Siemens Building Technologies and other companies from the Fortune 100 listing, as well as a number of largest Russian companies, including Rosgosstrakh and M-Video.

Under Egor's leadership, a number of software platforms have been developed, ranging from complex web applications to multimedia projects.

In 2005 Egor Shokurov and partners co-founded Svyaznoy-Zagruzka, Svyaznoy Group's daughter company. The company's activities are mainly focused in providing mobile content services. Today Svyaznoy-Zagruzka is among the ten companies, leading the mobile content market in Russia.

Becoming part of Axxon (former ITV), Egor brings his experience of working with large international and Russian clients, his experience with software development, as well as the financial stability to the organisation.

Egor Shokurov has begun his appointment July1, 2007. The new development strategy of Axxon (former ITV) requires increased focus on furthering the improvement of the software quality and of the provided services, on introducing innovations, and on insuring the company's growth in connection with the Russian and international market conditions. Axxon (former ITV)'s management believes that due Egor's professional qualities the strategy will prove successful.
