According to the Russian Fuel Union, the Lipetsk Fuel Company (LFC) is Russia’s third largest independent company in oil products sales and capital turnover tailing only the Moscow and St. Petersburg Companies. The LFC runs a retail network including 92 gas filling stations in 7 regions of the Central Federal District where it successfully competes with major players, such as Rosneft, TNK-BP and Lukoil. The company is stepping up its presence in the market and in line with its program to build 100 new stations intends to enter new regions this year, including the Moscow, Tula, Rostov, and Volgograd regions and Ukraine.
As part of the upgrade of existing gas stations surveillance systems and new system implementation, the KEB Group installed SmartVideo-based surveillance systems at 4 gas stations and an Axxon Intellect Lite based solution at the Rudnik oil depot.
The systems previously used at the oil depot and some of the gas stations were outdated and could no longer provide the required video quality. The KEB Group installed 8 analog high definition cameras at each of the stations and 6 Beward IP cameras at the oil depot. The client thus received a system providing high resolution video signal and remote surveillance capability of all facilities where AxxonSoft products were used as the system basis.
The KEB Group representatives opted for AxxonSoft products due to their high quality and reliability as well as the long successful record of video surveillance systems installation and support. The client’s representatives, namely IT Section Head Vladimir Izmalkov and Video Surveillance Engineer Andrey Shmakov, pointed out that the AxxonSoft software was easy to use and administer, offered extensive capability, and fully met the Lipetsk Fuel Company requirements.
