AxxonSoft held training and roadshow for local representatives in East Africa
Africa has become an increasingly important continent where economic growth is creating new business opportunities. Establishing a presence in African regions will be strategically important to take advantage of rapid expansion. One of the most promising markets in Africa is the Eastern region, with Kenya developing a reputation as the African leader in the emerging technology sector. The video surveillance market has benefited from the Kenyan technological growth with an increasing number of deployments.
Another factor driving opportunity in Kenya is government efforts to improve the country’s safety reputation in order to attract tourists back to its resorts, which have suffered following incidents of terrorism and piracy. Furthermore, Kenya’s position in East Africa means it can be a gateway into the smaller markets of bordering countries.
Acknowledging the importance of the East African market, AxxonSoft and local Kenyan partner Cryptum initiated training for AxxonSoft local representatives in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia.
In addition to the training event, a roadshow was organized for local companies. Representatives from different industries (retail, education, transportation) visited the roadshow and were impressed by the unique features and user-friendly interface of Axxon VMS 4.0 VMS and Axxon PSIM. The event received excellent feedback from participants, allowing our company to establish new strategic contacts.
