AxxonSoft releases version 3.6.2 of Axxon VMS

Version 3.6.2 of the Axxon VMS video management software (VMS) is now available. The developers' main efforts in the new update went to expanding features, implementing new functionality, and improving ease of use.

What's New in Axxon VMS 3.6.2:

• Improvements in GreenStream dynamic selection of bandwidth-efficient streams. GreenStream is now compatible with cameras that have configurable profiles for streams, as well as ONVIF and RTSP drivers.

• Access permissions: it is now possible to set user access rights for video archives and mass-configure access rights for hardware.

• Improved tools for scene analytics: object color is now supported as a criterion and support has been added for controlling for camera shake.

• New version 3.0 of iOS client. The updated version of the mobile app has been redesigned to incorporate new features for more efficient and convenient remote management.

Drivers Pack 3.2.28 is included with this product release, with the most up-to-date support for IP hardware in AxxonSoft products. Detailed information about the Drivers Pack, where to find the latest set of drivers, and the list of supported hardware is available here.

Axxon VMS is installed by default in trial mode and can be activated with a free or commercial license. The free version supports 1 server, 16 cameras, 1 TB storage, and an unlimited number of clients.
