AxxonSoft tests Uniview IP SAN network storage

AxxonSoft has tested Uniview IP SAN network storage with its Intellect and Axxon VMS products. The tests were run by streaming 1920x1080 @25fps 4Mbps videos between IP SAN units and an AxxonSoft-enabled server connected via iSCSI protocol on an Ethernet network.

The tests confirmed perfect interoperability between IP SAN network storage products and AxxonSoft's software in the following operating modes:

• video recording from a large number of cameras (200+);
• loop recording on FIFO basis;
• recorded video playback.

Uniview IP SAN products incorporate 16 to 60 HDDs of up to 10 TB. These storage units support Windows and Linux operating systems, iSCSI protocol, JBOD and RAID 0, 1, 10, 5, 50, 6.
